火小邪说道：“盗火，是我瞎编的。你等着啊！”火小邪四下张望，跑到洞中一角，把一个没点燃的大火盆连拖带拽弄到洞中间，又跑到另一侧，把点燃的那个火盆也拖到中间。两个火盆相隔四五尺远近，与苦灯和尚所在位置连成一线，着火的火盆在前，没火的火盆在后。
火小邪比划了一下距离，跑回苦灯和尚身边说道：“和尚，我们比盗火！你看到了吗，这里有两个火盆，相隔不远，我们站在这里，不准上前，但要把点着的火盆中的火盗走，去点燃另一个火盆。先说好了，不准用自己身上的器物，什么火种、衣服、鞋帽等等，都不准用，就这样站在原地，盗走一个火盆的火，点燃另一个火盆！”
苦灯和尚打量了半天，奇道：“小施主，站在这里不准动，也不能用身上的东西，这怎么可能做到？”
火小邪哼道：“怎么？做不到？做不到就认输，给我一块牌子！”
苦灯和尚笑道：“呵呵，小施主好狡猾，想用这种你也做不到的把戏，让我认输？”
火小邪叫道：“谁说我做不到！我就能把火盗走，点燃另一个火盆！”
苦灯和尚说道：“有趣！你等等，我先试试！”

苦灯和尚脸上一红，赶忙把佛珠放下，身子顿了一顿，猛然向火盆凌空推了几掌，大袖生风，带的火盆中的火苗倾斜一片。苦灯和尚喝了声，身子如螺旋桨一样飞转，大袖飞舞，风声猎猎，接连不断，眼看着火苗被吹的向另一个没有点火的火盆压过去。
火小邪心中暗叫：“这和尚真厉害！”
可惜两个火盆之间相隔四尺之多，火苗锋头确实有吹拂到火盆之上，但要想点燃火盆里的松油，除非火焰能在空中打弯，才能做到。
苦灯和尚挥舞大袖半天，仍然点不着火盆，慢慢停了下来，长叹一声：“阿弥陀佛，小僧做不到。c好看的”
火小邪笑道：“和尚，你可说好了，你做不到是不是？别一会反悔！”
苦灯和尚说道：“确实做不到，小施主，请你一试！你若能点着火盆，小僧输给你一块号牌！绝不食言！”
火小邪说道：“那就信你啦！”
火小邪走到洞边，从存放食物净水的石头房上取下一块扁石，拿手掂了掂，又换了一块，这样连续换了七八块，才终于挑到一块趁手的，拿在手上，走了回来。苦灯和尚牢牢盯着，一言不发。
火小邪看了眼苦灯和尚，说道：“这可不是我身上的东西。”
苦灯微微点头，聚精会神看着火小邪的动静。
火小邪深深吸了一口气，手中握了握这块扁石，伸展了一下肩头，凝视着火盆，手臂一展，轻轻喝了声：“去！”只见火小邪手中的扁石平平飞出，刚好砸进火盆之中，噗的一声轻响，这块扁石竟带着一团火焰，从火盆中再度跃出，直飞向另一个火盆。这块扁石，带着火焰，在空中划了道闪烁的火线，咔啷一声，击中火盆内沿，火花四溅，落进火盆中。
火小邪大叫一声：“中了！”
嘭的一下，火盆点燃。
苦灯和尚念道：“阿弥陀佛！”
